SANTA CLARITA, CA – All northbound lanes of I-5 were shut down following a multi-vehicle crash involving a big rig Friday afternoon.
According to the Santa Clarita Valley Signal, the accident occurred along the interstate near the Highway 126 Junction at about 3:42 p.m.
Troopers with the CHP say five vehicles were involved in the crash, including one semi-truck.
Details regarding the cause of the crash or if any injuries were sustained as a result are not immediately available.
