LOS ANGELES, CA – One person was killed and six were injured in a three car collision caused by a man suspected of drunk driving, the Beverly Press reports.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Melrose Avenue and Highland Avenue. The victim was traveling north in a Toyota Corolla on Melrose when he was hit by a Jeep that had run the red light.

The Jeep than hit a third vehicle before coming to a stop. The driver of the Corrolla lost his life in the accident.
The driver of the Jeep was arrested and charged with gross vehicular manslaughter involving DUI.
