LONG BEACH, CA – An unidentified male pedestrian was in critical condition after being struck in a hit-and-run early Monday morning, reports Long Beach Post.
Authorities responded to the intersection of Anaheim St and Obispo Ave around 12:30 a.m. Monday. The pedestrian suffered injuries to his upper and lower body.

The suspect initially fled the scene after the incident but came back an hour later and was arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run as well as driving under the combined influence of drugs and alcohol.
