LOS ANGELES, CA – One man was rushed to the hospital following a multi-vehicle collision in the Westlake District Tuesday morning.
According to CBS LA, the accident occurred at the intersection of Rampart Boulevard and Beverly Boulevard around 10:20 a.m.

Firefighters worked to free the occupant of an SUV using the Jaws of Life. He was transported to a local hospital to be treated for serious injuries sustained in the accident.
Five other people were treated by paramedics at the scene for minor injuries and released.
Details regarding the cause of the crash remain under investigation as of Monday morning.
