Two people died over the weekend following a two-vehicle collision that injured several others in Lubbock, Texas. The incident took place late at night on Saturday, June 20, and requires the expertise of a motorcycle accident attorney.
The Lubbock Police Department confirmed the incident in a press release, saying it happened at approximately 10:30 p.m. The encounter involved a motorcycle and a passenger car, which collided on East Slaton Highway.

Investigators gathered that 37-year-old Jason Buckner was riding a motorcycle eastbound on the westbound lanes of travel on East Slaton. A female passenger, 42-year-old Stephanie Duke, was also traveling with him on the motorbike.
A Cadillac SRX was westbound on the same route, with Freddie Flores, 28, behind the wheels. The two vehicles collided head-on as they approached the 200 block of East Slaton Highway. The impact of the collision knocked Buckner and Duke off the motorcycle as it crashed on the roadway.
Both victims sustained fatal injuries, and the Emergency Medical Services personnel pronounced them dead at the scene. The four occupants of the Cadillac, including Flores, an adult female identified as Cindy Delao 26, and two minors suffered injuries. EMS transported them to the University Medical Center for treatment. No update on their conditions is available at this time.
The incident remains under investigation by the Lubbock Police Department.
