Car accidents are one of the leading causes of death as they claim lives in Illinois and other parts of the United States, daily. Those who survive suffer either minor or severe injuries, depending on the severity and force of the crash. Other factors like seatbelt usage and the driver’s mental and cognitive ability determine the impact of an accident.
