HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA – An elderly man is dead after being struck by a suspected DUI driver Thursday, reports Hey SoCal.
The victim, an unidentified 68-year-old male, was struck by a 2007 Toyota Yaris driven by a 23-year-old man as he was crossing the street.

First responders were dispatched to the intersection of Pacific Coast Hwy and 1st St around 1:30 p.m. They took the victim to a nearby hospital where he later died of his injuries.
Following the accident, the driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
