SAN DIEGO, CA – Troopers with the California Highway Patrol were forced to shut down the HOV lane along I-15 following a vehicle fire Thursday night.
According to Caltrans, the fire was reported at about 8:50 p.m. within the northbound HOV lane just south of Citracado.

No injuries were reported as a result of the fire. However, the HOV lane was shut down for about a half-hour, reopening shortly before 9:30.
