PALM DESERT, CA – According to My News LA, a house fire in Palm Desert on Thursday afternoon has left five people without a home.
Officials with the Riverside County Fire Department said the blaze began at a single-story home on the 74000 block of Myrsine Avenue around 4:12 p.m.

Multiple crews responded and successfully extinguished the fire.
Two adults and three children were able to safely escape the home. The American Red Cross has been requested to assist them in finding temporary living arrangements.
