VISTA, CA – A man was killed by a hit-and-run driver as he crossed the street in Vista on Friday night, ABC 10 reports.
The victim was walking near the intersection of Sycamore Avenue and Green Oak Road when he was struck by a car shortly before 9 p.m. Lifesaving measures by the Vista Fire Department were unsuccessful in reviving this man.

The driver fled the scene in a brown Chevrolet Tahoe with tinted windows and damage to the front bumper. Police are seeking assistance from the public in finding the suspect.
