LOS ANGELES, CA – A hit-and-run pedestrian collision in East Hollywood left a tow truck driver with critical injuries on Saturday, reports KTLA.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the accident happened near the intersection of Clinton Street and Virgil Avenue a little after 8 p.m.

A vehicle traveling southbound on Virgil Street struck a tow truck driver who was standing in the street to take pictures of a vehicle. The driver then sped away without stopping to help the injured pedestrian.
Authorities identified the victim as a 46-year-old man named Gustavo.
On Wednesday, police asked anyone with information regarding the accident or driver to call Central Traffic Division detectives at 213-833-3713.
