FRESNO, CA – A woman was killed after being struck by several vehicles on State Route 99 in Fresno on Thursday night, reports Your Central Valley.
Officials with the California Highway Patrol say the accident occurred just before 7 p.m., near the West Ashlan Avenue overpass. The female pedestrian was reportedly walking on the freeway when she was hit and killed.

The Fresno County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 26-year-old Virginia Quintana of Fresno.
The crash remained under investigation.
