BAKERSFIELD, CA – Crews with the Bakersfield Fire Department responded to a fire in a back house at an East Bakersfield home on Tuesday night, reports KGET.
According to the preliminary report, the blaze began on the 500 block of Jefferson Street, shortly before 9:30 p.m.

When firefighters arrived, they found flames coming from the top of the building. They successfully extinguished the fire soon after.
