PALMDALE, CA – A firey hit-and-run crash claimed two lives in Palmdale Wednesday morning, reports KTLA.
The incident was reported around 12:30 a.m. on Rancho Vista Blvd near 11 St West.

A Toyota Corolla driven by a young mother and her ride-share driver was traveling west on Rancho Vista Blvd when a Dodge Challenger struck it from behind, causing it to explode into flames.
Following the collision, the driver of the Challenger left the vehicle and went into a Infiniti. The two occupants of the Honda died.
Authorities believe the driver of the Ford was involved in a street race. The accident is still under investigation.
