The motorcycle rider who lost his life in an alleged hit-and-run collision in Fresno, California, has been identified. On Saturday, August 1st, the updated accident report revealed the name of the victim as Jacob Fuentes, a 28-year-old resident of the city.
The Fresno Police said that the incident happened around 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of East Shields and North Del Mar avenues on Thursday, July 30th. The crash report showed that Fuentes rode a motorcycle eastbound on Shields. At the same time, a BMW traveled north on Del Mar.

The car then entered the rider’s path, who had the right-of-way, and the two collided at the intersection. When first responders arrived at the scene, they found Fuentes lying on the roadway with severe injuries. The paramedics rushed the man to Community Regional Medical Center, where he passed away.
The police said that the driver of the vehicle abandoned the BMW in the area of Del Mar and East Andrews avenues and fled on foot.
