LOS ANGELES, CA – Officials with the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a fatal pedestrian collision on State Route 1 in Pacific Palisades on Sunday night.
According to Palisades News, the crash happened around 11 p.m., near the Porto Marino Way intersection.

Police say a 27-year-old man was struck by a Nissan while crossing the highway. The victim, whose identity was not made public, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following the collision, the vehicle careened off the roadway and crashed onto the beach. The two motorists in the Nissan, a 26-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man, sustained unknown injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital.
As of Monday morning, no arrests had been made.
All lanes of SR-1 were shut down in the area for multiple hours after the crash.
