SAN DIEGO, CA – A DUI driver crashed killing one person and injured himself and another driver on State Route 56 early Saturday morning.
According to The San Diego Union Tribune, a 22-year-old San Marco man was traveling the wrong direction in a silver Honda Civic on State Route 56 near Carmel Country Road when he crashed into a blue Mazda CX-5 around 1:45 a.m. A passenger in the Honda died at the crash scene. Both drivers were transported to a local hospital for minor injuries.

The Honda driver was arrested for suspicious of DUI.
While investigating the crash another accident occurred due to a potential DUI suspect.
