ORANGE, CA – The driver of a gas-powered mini bike was killed after a collision with a tractor-trailer Wednesday morning.
According to New Santa Ana, the accident occurred at about 9:30 a.m. when the truck and mini bike were traveling eastbound on Taft Avenue with the mini bike in the bicycle lane. The two vehicles collided at the intersection with Leslie Way.

The unidentified driver on the mini bike was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The truck driver was uninjured and remained at the scene to cooperate with the police investigation.
Officers with the Orange Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team are working to determine an official cause of the collision at this time.
