TULARE COUNTY, CA – A driver died after a collision with a parked big rig truck in Earlimart early Sunday morning, reports ABC 30.
California Highway Patrol received reports of the incident around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

A driver of a Chevy Malibu was driving north on Highway 99 in Earlimart when they strayed off the road and collided with a big rig that was on the shoulder.
Flames were ignited by the crash and soon engulfed the vehicle. The driver was found dead inside by fire crews.
The big rig was pulled on the shoulder so the driver could check his tires. He was not injured in the accident.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident.
