SAN BERNARDINO, CA – A woman was killed in San Bernardino Sunday morning after colliding with a wrong-way driver, according to local news reports.
The accident occurred around 2:15 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Highway 259 near 27th Street. The victim was traveling north when her Subaru was struck by a man driving the wrong way.

The woman in the Subaru was pronounced dead at the scene. The wrong-way driver was hospitalized in critical condition. Investigators believe that he was intoxicated at the time of the fatal collision.
