SAN DIEGO, CA – An early morning crash on the San Diego Freeway took the life of a 52-year-old woman Tuesday, reports CBS 8.
California Highway Patrol were dispatched to the intersection of San Diego Freeway and Carmel Valley Rd around 12:49 a.m.

A Dodge Magnum driven by a 42-year-old man was going the wrong way on I-5 when he crashed into a Honda Civic. A Ford pickup truck, driven by a 32-year-old man then collided into the dodge.
The collision had victims trapped in their cars until first responders arrived.
A passenger in the Honda, the 52-year-old woman, died at the scene. Another passenger from the Honda, as well as all three drivers, were hospitalized with major injuries.
