GARDENA, CA – A motorcyclist died on Saturday night after colliding with a wrong-way driver in Gardena, local news reports.
The accident occurred near the intersection of Rosecrans Avenue and Kingsley Drive around 11:30 p.m. A woman driving a black Jeep west on Rosecrans crossed the center divider and entered the eastbound lanes. She then crashed head-on into the motorcyclist.

The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The Jeep driver was taken to Harbor General Hospital to be evaluated.
