WILMINGTON, CA – A multi-car crash in Wilmington left five people in critical condition after the vehicles involved also hit nearby pedestrians, CBS Los Angeles reports.
The accident occurred near the intersection of North Wilmington Boulevard and West Opp Street around 10:45 a.m. One person became trapped in their car and required extraction.

Five victims were transported to the hospital in critical condition, including pedestrians who became involved in the crash.
