LA JOLLA, CA – A car crashed into University Lutheran Church in La Jolla early Tuesday morning, local news reports.
Around 1 a.m. on Tuesday, a Mercedes-Benz crashed into the church wall as it attempted to turn left while travelling 65 miles per hour. The church is located in a residential area on La Jolla Shores Drive.

The driver and passenger were both uninjured. They crashed into an unoccupied area of the church and only caused property damage.
