FULLERTON, CA – Police in Fullerton are looking into the cause of an auto vs. bicycle crash that took the life of one person Monday afternoon.
According to CBS LA, the crash occurred near the intersection of Bastanchury Road and Lancer Way around 5:45 p.m.

Witnesses say the bicyclist was struck by the driver of a white Mercedes traveling in the southbound lanes of Bastanchury Rd.
The bicyclist was rushed to a local hospital where they were pronounced deceased a short time later. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
No further information with regard to the identities of those involved has been released.
