A man survived with injuries while another died, and a third ended in police custody following an accident in Sacramento, California. The authorities identified the survivor of the Saturday, April 18th, crash as Anthony Jones, 26, and a drunk driving attorney would be needed.
The California Highway Patrol said that the victim was a passenger in a car driven by a 34-year-old man identified as Mark Grosvenor. The latter was traveling with Jones and an unidentified female passenger on Highway 160 when he lost control of the car, veered off the road, and collided with a tree.

The crash occurred precisely near Canterbury Road at about 10:20 a.m. The accident left Jones and the woman trapped in the vehicle until first responders arrived to extricate them. The two sustained injuries, but the female’s wounds were more severe than that of the young man.
The medics rushed the woman to a local hospital where she sadly succumbed to her injuries. There is currently no information on Jones’ condition. CHP officers at the site determined that Grosvenor was under the influence at the time and arrested him.
The driver is facing a charge of suspicion of driving under the influence. There is no information on his bail bond or arraignment date, and the investigation is ongoing.
