TUSTIN, CA – Officials with the California Highway Patrol say a woman from Anaheim passed away in a DUI crash on State Route 55 in Tustin on Tuesday morning,
According to My News LA, the accident occurred around 2:05 a.m. in the the southbound lanes of SR-55, just north of Interstate 5.

Authorities identified the responsible driver as 27-year-old Anthony Robles of Rowland Heights. He was speeding in excess of 65 mph in southbound lane 3, when his 2008 BMW 335i crashed into the rear end of a 2012 Lexus RX350. His passenger, an Anaheim woman whose identity has not been released, was killed in the collision.
The impact forced the Lexus to roll over, causing unknown injuries to its driver, Oriana Rousseau, 22, of Newport Beach. CHP said Rousseau was transported to OC Global Medical Center for treatment.
Following the accident, the roadway was shut down for roughly 2 hours and 15 minutes. Robles was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
