A man who struck and killed a bicycle rider in San Diego, California, would need the expertise of a car injury lawyer. The police arrested Abbas Karama Shariff, 30, for fleeing the scene of the auto-bicycle collision that occurred on Tuesday, May 26th.
The crash report released by the San Diego Police Department disclosed that the fatal collision took place on a Ronaldo-area street at about 7 p.m. Sgt. Kevin Gibson said the man was driving a red Toyota Prius in the 6600-block of University Avenue when he collided with the deceased.

Afterward, Shariff pulled over, got down from his vehicle, carried the severely injured 40-year-old man, changed his mind, and left him on the roadway. The man fled the scene and abandoned his vehicle less than a mile from the accident site. Responding paramedics transported the then-injured male to the hospital, where the doctors pronounced him dead.
The police launched a search for the suspect and found the abandoned Toyota in the 6800-block of El Cajon Boulevard shortly after 9 p.m. Officers conducting a pedestrian search in the 7100-block of Central Avenue in Lemon Grove found and apprehended Shariff.
Officer Billy Hernandez said they interrogated the man before booking him into the San Diego Central Jail early on the morning of Wednesday, May 27th. The police did not disclose the charge against Abbas Shariff, and there is no additional information at this time.
Those involved in hit-and-run accidents should secure the services of a car injury lawyer to represent their interest.
