A car accident report from the Thousand Oaks area of California revealed that Frank Ocean’s younger brother, Ryan Breaux, and Ezekiel Bishop died in a car accident in the city. Breaux, 18, and Bishop, 20, passed away on Sunday morning, August 2nd, after the vehicle he traveled in crashed at about 1:30 a.m.

The incident happened on Westlake Boulevard, and the victims’ car traveled southbound before going off the road and striking a tree in the center median. The crash’s impact was so severe that it split the car in two, leaving Breaux and Bishop with fatal injuries.

The Ventura County Fire Department pronounced the two dead at the scene. Friends have acknowledged the passing of Breaux and Bishop on social media, but Frank Ocean has not yet released a statement on the occurrence. The investigation is ongoing.

Motor vehicle accidents occur daily in California and for various reasons. Speed is one of the common factors contributing to collisions in the state, and motorists must ensure that they drive within the legal and posted speed limit of each roadway.

The Cal-Basic Speed Law states that a person must never drive faster than it is safe for current conditions, taking into account road and weather conditions. Motorists should also consider the number and speed of other vehicles on the way, whether the surface of the roadway is smooth, wet, dry, wide, or narrow, and whether there are bicycle riders or pedestrians on the road’s edge.
