A car accident report from South Los Angeles, California, disclosed that two people survived a two-vehicle collision unscathed while two others ended up in the hospital. The Los Angeles Police Department identified Elder Zacarias, as one of the survivors of the occurrence of Monday night, June 15th.
The LAPD said that the incident took place in the Baldwin Hills/Crenshaw neighborhood of the city. The events leading to it began with the police chasing the unnamed driver of a reportedly stolen car. The pursuit, which began at about 10:30 p.m., lasted for a few minutes as the suspect crashed the vehicle at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Marlton Avenue.

Videos recovered from the crash site area showed that the pursued vehicle struck another vehicle, driven by Zacarias, before careening into a palm tree. An occupant of the car described as a woman in her 20s sustained severe wounds, and the police said she was unconscious and not breathing when medics took her to the area hospital. Her condition is unknown.
Officer Drake Madison, with the LAPD, said that another occupant of the suspects’ vehicle suffered injuries, and the paramedics conveyed the person to the hospital in unknown conditions. Zacarias and his uninjured passenger remained at the scene and spoke with the police.
The victim said he was driving through the intersection when the pursued car ran a red light and struck his vehicle. The latter sustained significant damage to its front end. The collision led to the closure of the intersection for several hours while the police gathered evidence. The investigation remains active.
