The BMW was approaching the Chevrolet when for unknown reasons, the vehicles had a head-on collision. After the crash, a passenger of the BMW and two passengers of the Chevrolet died.

Five others sustained unspecified injuries. Emergency responders arrived at the crash scene and transported the wounded to Las Vegas Medical Center, where they all received treatment.

Apart from Echeverria and Sun, authorities are yet to identify the other injured victims and the deceased. The crash remains under investigation by the police. No further information is available at this time.

Collisions between vehicles are a common occurrence on California roads and happen due to several factors such as DUI, negligence, and speeding.

Drivers must avoid operating their vehicles after consuming alcohol or drugs and must always avoid it. They must also heed all road traffic laws and abide by them always.

Motorists must also avoid driving at excessive speeds. Previous accident reports show that speeding drivers often lose control of their vehicles and veer off the roadway, or crash into others or people. Thus, all motorists must drive safely at all times to prevent accidents from happening.
