The investigators said that Mangrobang Jr. was traveling in a vehicle that collided with a semi-truck for reasons that remain elusive. The car then went on to crash against two other cars parked at the intersection. Both collisions left the man with extensive traumatic injuries.
The medics successfully transported Mangrobang Jr. to a local hospital for treatment. But, he succumbed to his injuries at about 3:11 p.m. The report by the BPD did not state if the other motorist involved sustained any wound in the fatal collision.
There is no additional information at this time, and the police failed to state in the accident report update if they are continuing with the investigation to determine the cause.
Traffic collisions at intersections are not uncommon in California and the United States. Traffic authorities list disobedience to stop signs, running red lights, over speeding, impaired driving, and failure to yield as common factors that lead to collisions at intersections.
Motorists should desist from the above, and pay heed to traffic laws and stop signs. Drivers should also maintain the speed limit, yield to other motorists, and look left-right-left before crossing an intersection.
