An accident report from Austin, Texas, revealed the identity of a man who died tragically in an auto-pedestrian accident. The Travis County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday, April 23rd, identified the deceased as Enrique Hernandez, 20.
The sheriff’s office said that the preliminary investigation uncovered that the accident that claimed the life of the young man occurred on Monday, April 13th, just outside of Austin. Individuals identified as workers on the roadside found Hernandez’s body in a ditch and alerted the authorities.

At the time the report came in, the police could not fathom how the deceased ended up in the ditch. During the update on Thursday, they confirmed that Hernandez was struck by a vehicle on Farm to Market Road 3177 in Travis County.
An unknown vehicle and driver traveling on the roadway struck the young man, and the impact sent him off the road and into the nearby ditch. The car involved did not leave behind any tire or skid marks, and the driver’s identity remains unknown at this time.
