Following one of the accident reports from Pleasanton, California, about a single-vehicle crash, the victim has been identified. The Alameda County Coroner’s Bureau revealed the name of the deceased as Sentaws Sentaws, 68.
The Denville man met his end on Tuesday, March 31st, on Interstate 580. The spokesman for the California Highway Patrol, Officer Tyler Hahn, said that witnesses reported that the crash occurred near Santa Rita Road.

Sentaws was at the exit of the roadway, eastbound on I-580 at about 10:05 a.m. Hahn added that the witnesses said that speed might have played a role in the solo crash. The man was going above the speed limit when his ’99 Mercedes-Benz ML 320 suddenly made a sharp left turn.
Sentaws hit the center divider, causing his vehicle to overturn in mid-air, and go down an opening to a canal under the freeway. The car landed on the driver’s door, and the driver died from the wounds sustained.
Hahn said that the investigation is still ongoing. The investigators have not figured out if drugs, alcohol, or a combination of both played a role in the tragic wreck. The officer also noted that the car could have had a mechanical problem or Sentaws had an underlying medical condition.
While most accident reports have over speeding or distracted driving as the cause, sometimes, the reason might be the two mentioned above. To prevent them, drivers should maintain their vehicles regularly and ensure they are of sound mental and physical health before driving.
