Taylor crashed against a wall, and the impact of the collision caused the car to overturn and eject him to the roadway. The deputy died from the traumatic injuries sustained in the crash and never made it to the hospital.
The crash remains under investigation, and the sheriff’s office has asked anyone with helpful information to contact the station. Witnesses can also call Macon Crime Stoppers on their listed line.
A lot of people in the United States get ejected when an accident occurs due to their failure to wear a seat belt while driving. Traffic officials have made it clear that a seat belt saves lives.
Having a seat belt prevents a driver from hitting the windshield when an accident occurs. It keeps drivers and passengers in the vehicle, rather than getting ejected, thereby increasing their chance of survival.
In the case of a rollover accident, it keeps the occupants of the car seated and keeps them from being thrown against the steering wheel and door. Also, wearing a seat belt is lawful, and offenders commit a traffic offense and are liable to pay a fine.
