A brutal head-on crash on U.S. Highway 53 in Elko killed 4 on Saturday.
The deceased have been identified as Michael R. Crispin, 60, and Gwendolyn Crispin, 61, both of Meridian, Idaho. Edgar J. Morales Contreras, 24; and Efrain Madera Tadeo, 26, of Oregon were in the second vehicle.

All 4 victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
The two vehicles were traveling approximately 25 miles south of Wells on US93 when one vehicle attempted an illegal pass in a double yellow no-passing zone. Both vehicles collided head-on, killing all four passengers instantly.
The highway was closed for many hours following the crash for cleanup.
