Lily Vartanian, 20, an Assumption College student was in a brutal crash involving 6 other people and 3 vehicles Saturday morning and was critically injured.
Lucas Delatree was driving his 2016 Honda Accord east on Route 9 at high speeds. John LeDoux, 22, of Worcester, was pulling onto Route 9 west from Lake street in his 2009 Infiniti G37. That’s when the collision happened.

The three other Assumption College students involved were treated and released with minor injuries.
A third vehicle was struck with debris from the initial crash and sustained minor damage, but no injuries.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the accident. It appears that Delatree was driving faster than the 45 mph posted in that area, and may have run a red light.
