SAN DIEGO, CA – A driver was seriously injured on Tuesday in a four-vehicle collision near Mission Valley, Fox 5 San Diego reports.
The crash happened around 9 a.m. on state Route 163 north of I-8. A dark SUV spun out of control while travelling north and struck a roadside barrier. The SUV then collided with a black Toyota sedan and two other vehicles.

One victim suffered serious injuries. No information is available on the condition of the others involved.
At this time it is not clear what initially caused the SUV driver to lose control.
