SPRING VALLEY, CA – A 60-year-old man was killed in Spring Valley on Monday after entering traffic on foot, the Times of San Diego reports.
The accident happened on Jamacha Boulevard around 9:45 p.m. The victim was using the sidewalk when he suddenly stepped onto the road directly in the path of a westbound Mercedes C350.

He suffered major injuries and died at the scene. The 77-year-old driver was not injured and remained at the scene.
