A pre-trial conference is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 10.

Police arrived at the scene and found the pedestrian, Jesse Wilcox, lying in the road adjacent to a painted crosswalk that crosses Michigan Avenue. Wilcox looked to have severe head trauma, police stated in their report. He was unconscious and bleeding violently from the head as he was taken to Bronson Methodist Hospital for immediate emergency care, the report states. He was listed in serious condition, according to the report.

Awaiting an official investigation, Jesse Wilcox and his loved ones could be entitled to a claim. Family members of personal injury or wrongful death victims might pursue damages for loss of companionship, pain and suffering, and emotional distress after a horrible or tragic incident such as this terrible accident.
