ANAHEIM, CA – Crews with the Fullerton Fire Department responded to reports of a vehicle crashing into the Big 5 Sporting Goods store in Anaheim last Wednesday afternoon.
According to OnScene TV, a female driver lost control of her SUV following a collision on Orangethorpe Avenue near the Lemon Street intersection. Her vehicle then careened into the nearby storefront of the Big 5 Sporting Goods store, shattering the windows.

The woman suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.
The store was open at the time, though no one inside was hurt.
The pylons in front of the store stopped the vehicle before it went completely into the building.
Authorities are unsure if the wet roadway conditions played a role.
