PALA MESA, CA – A 36-year-old man died after his truck crashed and flipped over, the San Diego Union Tribune reports.
The victim was driving northbound on I-15 in a 2016 Freightliner semi-truck. Around 2:30 a.m., in the area south of Dulin Road, his truck left the road, hit a fence and flipped over.

The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the truck. He crashed into a concrete pillar and was seriously injured. Paramedics rushed him to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido, where he died several hours later.
It is not known why his truck swerved off the road. Police are continuing to investigate.
