RIALTO, CA – Three people were killed and a fourth was injured when their vehicle collided head-on with a box truck yesterday morning, CBSLA reports.
The crash happened in the 2500 block of S Riverside Avenue at about 7:45 a.m. on Monday, when a 2020 Nissan Altima tried to pass a Dodge Ram pickup. The Altima clipped the back end of the Dodge, veered into the oncoming lanes, and collided head-on with the box truck.

The driver and two passengers died at the scene, while a third passenger was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.
No one else appears to have been injured.
