PACIFIC PALISADES, CA – Police have identified the victim of a pedestrian accident along the PCH Sunday night.
According to LAPD, Carlos Barahona, 27, was struck at about 9:30 p.m. while attempting to cross the freeway near Porto Marina Way.

Police say the driver involved attempted to swerve to avoid sticking the man and crashed into an embankment then onto the nearby beach.
Barahona was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Both occupants in the vehicle sustained unknown injuries as a result.
