ANAHEIM, CA – Two people were hospitalized after an SUV collided with an Anaheim fire engine that was en route to a call early Thursday morning.
According to the OC Register, the accident occurred shortly after 1 a.m. The fire engine was traveling south of Euclid Street when the SUV slammed into its left side near Sumac Lane.

Two men in the SUV were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. No firefighters were seriously injured.
Investigators do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash at this time.
