LOS ANGELES, CA – An electrical fire in a West LA construction site killed one worker and injured two others on Thursday afternoon, ABC 17 reports.
The fire started around 12:10 p.m. in the Sawtelle neighborhood near West Olympic Boulevard.

Officials believe that the fire was started by a rebar that became electrified and made contact with high voltage lines.
One worker was unable to escape the fire and died at the scene. Two others were injured and taken to a local hospital.
