LONG BEACH, CA – One man was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in West Long Beach last Tuesday night.
According to the Long Beach Post, the accident occurred near the intersection of Anaheim Street and Hayes Avenue at about 7:25 p.m.

Investigators say a female driver was traveling eastbound on Anaheim Street when a male pedestrian stepped out into the roadway away from the designated crosswalk.
The driver remained at the scene of the crash. The pedestrian was rushed to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries sustained in the wreck.
