A man who crashed a tractor into a parked car on the street in Jurupa Valley, California, would need to hire a top accident lawyer. The police took Alberto Solis Ochoa, 47, into custody on Tuesday, May 26th, after determining that he was intoxicated at the time of the crash.

According to the crash report released by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect at about 9:45 p.m. drove a yellow tractor through the intersection of Clay Street and Van Buren Boulevard. Investigators said that Ochoa then plowed into a parked vehicle along the curb.

The man tried to flee the scene in his tractor, and witnesses told officials that they thought the collision was intentional. The deputies initially handled the investigation as an assault with a deadly weapon until they discovered that Alberto Ochoa was intoxicated.

The authorities forcibly detained the suspect as he kept trying to flee in his tractor. The police said no one sustained an injury in the collision, and the driver was also unscathed. They booked the man into the Robert Presley Jail on suspicion of DUI, hit-and-run resulting in property damage and evading a peace officer.

The jail records show that Ochoa’s bail is $100 000 and the suspect remained in custody by Wednesday night, May 27th. The investigation into the accident is ongoing, and witnesses can contact the investigators at the Jurupa Valley station.

Those with liabilities in a DUI-related collision should contact a top accident attorney for legal advice and representation.
