A multi-vehicle car crash took place in Scottsdale, Arizona yesterday, Wednesday, February 19th. The accident took place on State Route 51 in Scottsdale in the left lanes of the northbound side of the road.
The road was busy at the time of the accident, so multiple vehicles crashed into each other in a chain reaction once the accident started. The exact cause of the accident is not known at this time. All that is known is that at least one person was seriously injured.

Emergency medical workers arrived at the scene minutes after it occurred to provide immediate treatment to the victims of the accident. Several people were injured in the accident, but there were no fatalities and only one person needed to go to the hospital. For all of the other injured people, only on-site medical care was needed.
Police are still investigating the accident to try to determine the exact cause. Right now, they do not know if impairment, speeding, reckless driving, or distraction were factors in the accident. They investigated the scene of the accident heavily following closure of the road.
The investigation took place for several hours after the accident happened. The
road was reopened to traffic again once all of the debris from the accident was
cleared off of the road and once the road was safe to drive on again.
