SAN DIEGO, CA – A 50-year-old woman was killed on Tuesday afternoon when she was hit by a Jeep in a crosswalk on Mira Mesa Boulevard, ABC 10 reports.
The accident occurred around 3 p.m. at the intersection of Aderman Avenue and Mira Mesa Boulevard. The victim was attempting to use the crosswalk when she was hit by a Jeep Wrangler turning onto the street.

After being rushed to the hospital, the woman went into surgery for a brain bled but later passed away due to her energy.
The 45-year-old man driving the Jeep is not suspected to have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
